Bringing Mission CRM to Life – Sylogist x Microsoft

Challenge

As a trusted technology provider for nonprofit organizations, Sylogist Mission CRM wanted to showcase how its solution, built on Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit, helps mission-driven organizations streamline donor management and fundraising.

The USS Midway Museum, a historic aircraft carrier turned nonprofit museum, was the perfect example of how a nonprofit can leverage technology to preserve history, engage supporters, and drive impact. To tell this story effectively, Sylogist and Microsoft partnered with Transcends to create a compelling video that would bring the real-world benefits of Mission CRM to life.

However, with multiple stakeholders—including Microsoft, Sylogist, and the USS Midway Museum—this project required careful alignment on messaging, branding, and production execution to create a seamless, high-quality final product.

Approach

To create a compelling video that resonated with nonprofit leaders and decision-makers, we:

  • Sent a production team to San Diego for on-site filming – Capturing the USS Midway Museum in its historic setting allowed us to showcase its mission authentically while demonstrating how Mission CRM supports its operations.
  • Developed a powerful storytelling framework – We structured the narrative to highlight both the museum’s mission and the transformative impact of Mission CRM in managing donors and fundraising more effectively.
  • Aligned messaging across stakeholders – We collaborated with Microsoft, Sylogist, and the USS Midway Museum to ensure the messaging was clear, consistent, and compelling while adhering to Microsoft’s co-marketing guidelines.
  • Managed full-scale video production – From scripting and pre-production planning to on-location interviews and cinematic filming, we ensured the final video was polished, engaging, and visually striking.
  • Featured real voices for authenticity – Interviews with USS Midway Museum staff brought credibility and emotion to the story, demonstrating how Mission CRM helps nonprofits operate more efficiently.
  • Optimized for multi-channel distribution – The final video was designed for use across social media, digital marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and industry events, maximizing its reach and impact.

Results

  • A compelling nonprofit success story – The USS Midway Museum video effectively illustrated how Mission CRM, powered by Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit, helps organizations streamline operations and enhance donor engagement.
  • Brand visibility & lead generation – The video became a key marketing asset for Sylogist and Microsoft, increasing awareness and engagement among nonprofit decision-makers.
  • Strengthened Microsoft + Sylogist partnership – The collaboration reinforced Sylogist’s position as a leading Microsoft ISV partner in the nonprofit sector, paving the way for future joint marketing efforts.
